Rain Athletics has been a part of my family since 2013 and I couldn’t be more proud to say that my daughters we part of the First Storm. A lot has changed since the beginning but the founding principles have stayed the same… wholesome allstar cheerleading with a family atmosphere. Since the beginning the original 3 coaches Caleigh, Jacob and Jordan have taught my girls to work hard for what you want and to never give up; be confident but not cocky and stay humble! This isn’t just cheerleading advice, it is a life lesson.
As my baby girl who grew up at Rain is approaching her senior year and our time in the Allstar world is quickly reaching the end, I am as grateful to Rain Athletics as I was the day I walked through their doors 9 seasons ago!
These few months I’ve spent at Rain Athletics have been some of the best months of my life. This gym brought back the love for the sport I haven’t felt in years. The atmosphere of Rain is the best part. You truly feel like you’re apart of one big family as soon as you walk in the door. The bond you make with your teammates and coaches is so special. Memories made here will last a lifetime. Rain encourages you to be the best you can be. Not only physically, but mentally. The respect here is a big aspect that teaches you to never give up when it gets hard, and to always keep pushing. Rain Athletics is a name I proudly wear across my chest.
Rain Athletics has an extremely special meaning behind it. It has become my second home. It is so much more than just a gym. It is a family. I was injured most of last season and part of this season, Rain made me feel like no matter what, I was still apart of the team. I’ve made so many life long friends just through 2 season of cheering at Rain Athletics. My coaches have made more than just a positive impact on me, they’ve showed me how talented I can be just through building my confidence. If you’re looking for a place that gives you excellence, a family, and the value that hard work can give you, Rain is the place.
When you find the right gym you just know. We have been in the world of All Star cheer for 13 years. We have been to several amazing gyms and I even coached my daughter’s team for 8 years. We have never been a part of a gym like Rain Athletics. The first time she went to practice and walked out with the biggest smile on her face, I knew. She continues to walk out after each practice with the same smile. The dynamic of this gym is something special. The staff is something special. They find a way to make each individual athlete feel important and wanted. There is an atmosphere in the gym that’s contagious. It’s a place where even the newest of athletes feels acceptance. We are so happy to have found Rain Athletics and cannot wait to spend our last years cheering for them.
